I had a 26 ft. truck rented and all set for pick up at 8 or 8:30am Saturday. The house is sold the new house bought and hired movers waiting for the morning to do the move. We call to verify our truck and yeah! Nope...The guy who was supposed to drop off the 26ft uhaul dropped it off at a different location not the one he agreed too and then it was rented out by time """"I"""""took the initiative to see if it was still available which should of been the job for this husband and wife team. I told her i expected the mistake to be corrected immediately and i would not be afraid to sue them if it wasnt remedied. Thats when miss crabby pants got rude and refused to speak to me and put her husband on the phone who said yeah...Uhaul pays us a fee to do this but it isnt our fault the truck isnt here and there isnt anything we can do about it you have no truck call uhaul corporate. What good is it for uhaul to pay this lazy couple to provide a service they dont even do? Worst customer service experience i have EVER had so that speaks for itself right there..beyond lazy! Plenty could have been done by this couple they are after all being "paid" to do this service. They could have called corporate for us since we had been taking several day trips with our trailer. As if we wernt busy enough. They could have called around for us due to their error and asked if there was a similar sized truck available anywhere nearby and give us a large discount for this unexcusable mess up and also have it picked up and ready for is. When you say you arw going to have a truck there it should be there. No excuses. These 2 acted as though they could truly care less again saying nothing we can do, nothing we can do, nothing we can do. Yeah i get it...you dont want to do the job your provided. I made sure to file a complaint to corportate and will be filing another corporate report and my aim is to get Uhaul to decide to be unnafilliated with this couple due to the very poor work ethic they have.
Great customer service! Guy was really busy at the end of the day. Stopped what he was doing and quickly entered the forms. Easy in easy out with the van. (rented in 2017)
