My son has been with MWS for two years now and our family could not be happier with the type of training that Pedro has provided my son as well as the rest of his athletes. One of the keys to what is provided at MWS is the fun that these kids have while they are training. These kids are having so much fun that they don't even realize the work they are putting in to become better athletes. My son came to Pedro for wrestling, where he finally has become a technical wrestler. It is undeniable; however, that he has become a better football and baseball player, too, because of the training he has done. He is definitely faster, stronger, more explosive and mentally tough due to the training he has done at MWS.

Great place to improve your wrestling skills

The most recent change was he recently received his first ever straight A progress report from school.

We brought our son to MWS to improve his wrestling skills and this has worked out very well.

It gives me a good work out and it also helps get me be a better wrestler

A pleasant surprise was how MWS affected the rest of his behavior.

He has gained confidence is everything he does. Really cares about teammates and understands how they help each other in practice.

The biggest realization as to the athletic advantage these kids are given was when there were 7 touchdowns scored one Saturday morning last fall (by two, fifth grade teams) and 6 of the touchdowns were scored by three boys that had trained with MWS that previous summer. It was not a coincidence.

He works on so much more than just wrestling during the practice time. Coaches bring out the confidence in your child to succeed, and makes them the best wrestler they can be. The room is full of smiles from the start of practice until the end. I have never been anywhere like this before. Midwest Strong is not just a wrestling club, they are a family through the wrestling season and through off season.

I can't begin to explain how thankful I am that we found Midwest Strong. My son had lost the fun in the sport of wrestling through the years. I had to insist we give this place a try before what I thought would be his last few weeks. From the moment we walked into the doors we were welcomed with open arms, both athlete and parent. After the first practice I asked him what he thought and his words were "Dad I want to go here!" with a smile that I have not seen on his face for months. We went from not wanting to go to practice twice to wanting to be there a half hour or more early three times a week.
